Levels of air pollution in Scotland's pubs have dropped

17 December 2006

Levels of air pollution in Scotland's pubs have dropped by 86% since the smokefree legislation was introduced in March, according to new research by scientists at Aberdeen University.

The study involved approximately 360 bar workers and assessed the difference in exposure to air pollution, which was measured before the ban and then two months later.
